Hubert de Givenchy was born in Beauvais on February 21, 1927 in the family of a pilot who died when his son was two years old. Mother dreamed of a lawyer career for him, but Hubert decided to connect his life with the art of costume after a trip to the fair in 1937. The exposition of the Fashion Pavilion, where the works of the 30 best fashion houses in France were presented, was simply fascinated!
