Kenzo brand

The famous Kenzo brand was founded by Japanese designer Kenzo Takada, who came to Paris to realize his dream of becoming a fashion designer in 1965.

His fate is like a fairy tale: born in a village in one of the Japanese provinces in 1939, the fifth child in the family of the owner of the tea house became a revolutionary European costume, one of the most notable designers of the XX century. Isn’t that a miracle?

Kenzo Takada’s interest in costume arose at school, but at the insistence of his father he had to go to Kobe Gaibo University, the faculty of English literature. Here he did not last long – only one semester. After leaving school, he left for Tokyo, where he entered the oldest Japanese school of fashion designers Bunka Gakuen. He was not embarrassed by the fact that it was a women’s educational institution, and he was the first young man in the entire history of his existence. Continue reading

Gucci Brand

The world famous brand Gucci (Gucci) recently celebrated its ninetieth anniversary. In the history of this brand, as in Italian cinema, there was everything: happy moments of fame and high points, ups and downs, scandals and investigations, the struggle for inheritance, the betrayal of loved ones and so on. Gucci House was a family business, so conflicts and disagreements were inevitable among temperamental relatives.

The founder of the Gucci brand was Guccio Gucci (1881-1953), who in 1921 opened a workshop in Florence for the production of leather suitcases with money earned in London. He worked there as a simple elevator for 10 years at the Savoy Hotel. It was there, when observing the luggage of the guests, he came up with a happy thought to open his own business in the manufacture of high-quality, prestigious suitcases, and then – bags and moccasins. Mango brand

The world-famous Spanish brand Mango (Mango), engaged in the design, manufacture and sale of fashionable clothes and accessories, was created relatively recently – in 1984 in Barcelona. Its founders – brothers Aizak and Nachman Andik – decided to name their brainchild in honor of the fruit of the same name, which aroused their admiration for its unusual, original taste and freshness at the moment when they tasted it for the first time. They were not mistaken in choosing the name: fashion products of the Mango brand always delight fashionistas all over the world, striking with freshness of ideas and images, originality of design decisions, quality and comfort of products.
